I was recently asked what I want for my Birthday (which is coming up this week). I thought about it and realized I am very content with all the gadgets, toys and pretty much everything in my life so nothing is really needed. Besides whatever I wanted I would usually buy for myself anyway. What I want for my birthday is something I could never get for myself.
This brings me to the second part of what I want. I asked a question on Facebook: “What famous person would you want to meet dead or alive?” For me that was simple Steve Wozniak.
I’m not one who really is into celebrity worship. I am more into history and of course computers. When you combine the two subjects, Steve Wozniak’s name appears. From all the articles I have read and from the excellent movie “Pirates of Silicon Valley.” I always felt that Steve Wozniak was one guy I could sit down and have a great conversation with. First he could tell me stories about his life and how he ended up where he was today. Second he could tell me his opinion of the future of IT. And thirdly he could tell me awful jokes and anyone who knows me knows that is actually the most important thing.
So if any of you can get me a 5 minute conversation with Steve Wozniak then you will have gotten me the best Birthday Present a middle-age boy could ever want.
